Rockdale Library and Information Services is celebrating Library & Information Week with a series of interesting demonstrations, talks and morning and afternoon tea.

Monday 24 May A group of 40 people got to enjoy a French cooking demonstration.

Tuesday 25 May 3 – 4pm  Afternoon tea at Rockdale Library
Wednesday 26 May 11 am National Simultaneous Storytime at Rockdale & Bexley North Libraries. National Simultaneous Storytime is a campaign organised by the Australian Library & Information Association in which a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author, is read to children simultaneously in a variety of venues around Australia. No booking is required.
Wednesday 26 May 2 -3pm, Rockdale Library, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – Rockdale City Council’s Waste Education Officer, Geoff Raymond, will provide an intersting and informative session on simple steps you can take to help reduce waste in our environment. Come along and learn how you can help make a difference.

Friday 28 May 10 – 11am, Rockdale Library Beading Workshop. Unfortunately this event has been booked out.
